The idea to teach convicted prisoners to the basics of business belongs to the branch of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Emba. The prosecutors supported the project. Business courses were conducted for those serving the sentence in the detention centre KA168 / 5 of the town of Gem in order to attract entrepreneurship and to explain the program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship. The convicts were told about business planning, clarified the legal aspects of business, and also conducted a course to increase goal-setting and the fundamentals of leadership. According to the organizers, this knowledge will be useful for creating your own business, because almost everyone here has his own business ideas. According to the director of the branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs Tlek Nakpayev, the convicts, after being released, will be ready to do their favorite craft. For example, open a wood carving workshop or a computer club, develop agriculture. Moreover, to realize these ideas, they can expect to receive state support. In addition, within the framework of the project, free premises and land plots are provided on the territory of the detention centre KA 168/5 to open a business. "At the moment, work is under way to attract interested entrepreneurs to start a business in the premises of the institution. The advantage for entrepreneurs is a free premises and trained employees", - concluded the director of the branch of RCE. At the moment, there are three individual entrepreneurs on the territory of the institution. In addition, since last year on the basis of the correctional facility operates a shop for the production of school furniture, where work about 20 convicts. As a result of the business course, the students were given commemorative books "100 projects for small businesses".
